Pharmacies in the US are facing difficulties in delivering prescriptions to patients due to a cyberattack on a unit of UnitedHealth. The company reported that its Change Healthcare business, which processes prescriptions for insurance, was compromised by hackers who gained access to some of its systems. As a result, pharmacies across the country are unable to process prescription claims, leading to delays and disruptions in services. UnitedHealth believes the cyberattack could be sponsored by a foreign country and has taken measures to isolate the attack and notify law enforcement. They are working on restoring the systems affected.
