These four New Mexico brews were selected among the world's best
New Mexico breweries won four World Beer Cup awards this year.

The World Beer Cup, which this year received more than 10,000 entries, selected four New Mexico-based breweries as the winners.

You can find the complete list of winners online. According to the World Beer Cup website, 10,213 beers were submitted by 2,376 breweries in 51 countries for the 2023 contest.
According to the website of the Cup, the World Beer Cup takes place annually along with the Craft Brewers Conference & BrewExpo. The Brewers Association organizes the event, which brings together more than 200 judges to select gold, silver, and bronze medal winners for 103 different beer styles.
Ex Novo’s “V for Vienna” beer won silver in the Vienna Style Lager category as well last year. In January, the brewing company announced its plans to expand and renovate a former tire store in Downtown Albuquerque to create a new taproom and restaurant of 11,000 square feet. Then in March it confirmed plans to sell off two Oregon properties in order to concentrate on New Mexico.
