The latest on the Nevada GOP caucuses and 2024 campaign

Former President Donald Trump is expected to secure a win in the Nevada Republican caucuses, adding to his victories in Iowa and New Hampshire. Trump faces minimal opposition in Nevada’s second election, as the state GOP chose to disregard the results of the state-run primary and base its delegate allocation on the party-run caucuses. Candidates who participated in the primary, including Trump’s major opponent Nikki Haley, were not allowed to appear on the caucus ballot. The Supreme Court is currently evaluating whether Trump’s actions surrounding the January 6th attack on the Capitol render him ineligible for office.
